Explore our comprehensive guide to delivery areas, lead times, and what you can expect when ordering your handcrafted furniture from The Furniture Centre.

Where We Deliver

We provide retail delivery coverage across Northamptonshire (U.K) and surrounding areas. For deliveries to other areas of the U.K, a surcharge may apply, and lead times might be slightly extended.

Our specialist delivery team takes pride in handling your new furniture with care. For all deliveries, we offer a 'room of choice' service as standard, ensuring your new furniture is placed exactly where you need it, provided there is safe and clear access. Please note that assembly is not included with most deliveries, and this is subject to an additional charge.

When your order is ready for delivery, our staff will call or email to book a convenient date, typically providing morning or afternoon arrival windows to fit around your day.

Order Lead Times

Handmade Sofas

The typical estimate for our handcrafted sofas is 8–12 weeks from order confirmation. Once your bespoke piece complete, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange delivery.

Please note that as each piece is truly handcrafted to order, lead times are estimates. We believe quality craftsmanship is always worth the wait.

Cabinets/Recliners

Our cabinet ranges and recliners typically carry an estimated lead time of 6–8 weeks, and made-to-order ranges up to 12 weeks.

La-Z-Boy products can take up to an estimated 16 weeks to arrive with us, due to each piece being made-to-order.

All lead times are an estimate, and can be subject to delays. However, we will always endeavour to keep you updated should delays occur.

Delivery Charges & Access

Delivery charges vary by postcode and can be found here. For long distance delivery queries, please get in touch for an estimated cost.

Please ensure you inform us of any access restrictions, such as narrow staircases, flats, or parking limits. Our team will always do their best to deliver your handcrafted furniture safely and with care. Please see our Delivery & Fit Disclaimer for more detail.

Failed Deliveries, Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be delighted with your new furniture, but we understand that plans can change. If a delivery is missed or access isn't possible, we may have to apply a re-delivery charge to cover the additional logistics.

We aim to ensure our items are of the highest quality. However, in the rare case that a product fault is discovered due to poor manufacture, we will repair or replace the furniture at no extra cost. Please note that bespoke or made-to-order handcrafted items cannot be cancelled, and deposits on these orders are non-refundable. Please click here to see our full terms & Conditions.
